This is an antique parlour drinking table. A Scottish, oak tilt-top country house occasional table, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.
Delightful country estate table, with exceptional figuring
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good antique order
Quality Scottish oak presents fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
Resplendent throughout with warm caramel hues for a refined appearance
Wide rectangular top ideal for a game of cards, or occasional dining
Set upon an articulated tilt-top, held securely to the reverse with a brass latch
Broad turned support stand, playing host to a trio of long cabriole legs
The whole riding smoothly upon a set of brass castors
