Item Description
An exceptional William IV rosewood side cabinet, dating to circa 1825, presented in excellent showroom condition.
Featuring beautifully figured rosewood veneers, richly coloured and expertly polished to enhance the natural grain and depth of tone.
The cabinet is fronted by a pair of elegant mirrored doors, each set within finely moulded frames. The doors open smoothly to reveal a clean interior fitted with 2 height-adjustable shelves, offering both practicality and versatility for displaying or storing a range of items. A working lock and original key are present, providing a secure closure.
At the frieze, intricate carved floral mouldings accent the classical lines typical of the William IV period, adding just the right amount of decorative detail without overpowering the cabinet’s elegant proportions. The piece stands on a deep, plinth base.
Offered in superb showroom condition.
