A pair of Japanese cushions handmade from a vintage pink and white oriental Fukuro Obi, woven with real silver and silk thread depicting chrysanthemum flowers and Edo Komon (a traditional repeating pattern). Backed with dupion silk. Japanese Mid-Showa period. Circa 1960.
