Item Description
An Edwardian period golden oak country house or hotel post box. Circa 1900.
The post box is made in solid oak with a brass post flap engraved LETTERS, and a glazed panel beneath. There is a door to the right hand side with brass handle and working lock and key.
Overall in very good clean condition, this piece has been re-finished at some time in the past. There is a small repair to the back of the chamfered edged top, and the paper insert in the panel is a modern replacement.
