Item Description
Vintage yew wood plank top trestle table. Circa 1960.
Made of solid yew wood with a clean, functional design and a naturally expressive grain. Showing the warm tonal variation and organic movement that makes yew one of our most prized British hardwoods.
The trestle base is shaped with simple, well‑balanced lines that give the piece stability without unnecessary ornamentation - practical and made to last.
Perfect as a dining table, statement desk, or centrepiece in a design‑led interior.
The table top shows variations in colour, with heavier patina build-up in some areas, along with marks consistent with normal use. The surface remains smooth with a gentle, lightly polished finish.
Delivery can be arranged either with the table fully assembled or carefully dismantled for easier transport. If delivered dismantled, reassembly is straightforward: The frame is secured with eight screws, and the wooden pegs simply tap into place (a rubber mallet is recommended). Once assembled, the table is very sturdy and solid.
Additional Dimension Information: 69cm in height from floor to beneath the table top. Width between the two trestles (ie to allow for seating): 105cm.
