Item Description

Stunning large scale English cast brass hall lantern formerly for gas and dating around 1850-60. Currently without its electrical cradle which is included in the price and can be bespoke to clients requirements. This lantern has its original oxidation but could be cleaned a little if required ( please ask ). Perfect for beneath a cupola or in a very grand country house entrance hall. Weight approx 20 kilos 40 cms of original chain ( additional decorative chain can be provided - please ask) Please note that due to the technical nature of our stock all items are double checked prior to leaving the warehouse. Quite often we do not complete the rewire process until an item is sold because style requirements vary. Some stock goes to the US and other countries where voltages are different. All electrical items hold a PAT test certificate. Lead time for delivery therefore is generally 2-3 weeks from receipt of funds and may be a little less to London where we deliver weekly. Chandeliers need to have frames built and each one is custom made. We do not currently ship to the U.S.
