Item Description
Antique, oval, mercury glass, Venetian mirror, circa 1840, with scallop-cut edged frame decorated at each quarter with a symmetrical leaf-shaped piece, secured with silver metal screws with little diamond-cut glass tops. The mirror is topped with an elegant, bevelled glass bow decorated with glass flowers and etched lines. There is a little age in some of the small pieces but the central, hand-bevelled glass gives an excellent reflection.
