Item Description
Early 20th century Venetian mirror with curved top. The frame is decorated with alternating long and short scallop cuts along the outside edge and small scallop cuts along the inner edge with a very delicate central etched design of heart-shaped leaves, twirling stems and little flowers. Each piece of the frame is secured with a symmetrical glass leaf with a central cut star and these are held in place with little flower-topped screws. The original, central, bevelled glass has some light age but still gives a very good reflection. This is a very attractive mirror which has not photographed well and needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
