Item Description
Late 19th century rectangular, unusually wide, French mirror with narrow, outcurving silverleafed frame. Through more than 100 years of cleaning, the black bole beneath the silverleaf is gently showing through in some areas of the frame, giving it an attractive patina. The original glass is in excellent condition with just a hint of age and gives a very good reflection. This mirror was bought at auction in Bordeaux and came from an important house in that area.
