Item Description
Rare, very large, antique French oval mirror, circa 1880, with deep, gently outcurving frame etched with a design of alternating oak and bay leaves. A row of beading runs around the sight edge (edge closest to the glass) and gilding continues around the outside of the frame. The original glass has a little light age but still gives an excellent reflection and this magnificent, classic mirror would look stunning as an overmantel or in any large space.
