Item Description
Charming, curvy, antique, pear-shaped Venetian mirror, circa 1900, with scallop-cut edged frame decorated with a central row of bubbles, secured at each join with a glass leaf or flower-shaped piece held in place with a little glass flower-topped screw. An impressive glass ribbon bow flows down each side of the top section and the original, central mirror has a wide bevel. There is just a very little age in the frame and a hint of age in the central glass, which gives an excellent reflection. The wooden back has a sliding stand showing that this mirror was originally made as a table-top mirror but now hangs on a wall.
