Item Description
Unusual little early 20th century Italian mirror with outset corners. The silverleafed frame is decorated with a punched design of curling stems and the outer frame edge has undulating (pie crust!) finish. Where the silverleaf has been dusted for more than a century, the red bole beneath is just starting to show through, giving the frame an attractive patina. The original glass has a little light age but still gives a fair reflection.
