Item Description
These cushions are made from a vintage cotton Chinese quilt top (pugai) with a beautiful pattern using an indigo resist technique. The pattern comprises various auspicious symbols including longevity and the 5 blessings. The indigo is a lovey vibrant shade of blue and has a slightly worn look to it which is just lovely. It's very rare to find these in such good condition and on such a good thick handwoven cotton. I've backed the cushions with a vintage hand woven textile from the Buyi ethnic minority and this is in a tiny geometric pattern, again dyed a similar bright indigo. There are zip fasteners and feather pads
