Item Description
This pillow is very special. It is made from a Miao festival collar and is hand stitched applique and fine embroidery. The pattern depicts a map of the 5,000 year old Capital Chisou which was the home of the Miao's ancestors. I've backed the cushion with a vintage handloomed claret coloured textile from the Songjiang area of Shanghai which was a reknown textile district. I think the colour works beautifully with the yellow and red of the collar. The pillow is choc full of Provencal lavender selected for its long lasting scent.
