Item Description
This cushion is made from a vintage Zanjan jajim from Persia. Jajims have a wonderful drape and were traditionally used in nomadic households to cover or store belongings. They were hand loomed on narrow looms and the panels sewn together to make a larger textile. This jajim is woven from wool with a really lovely palette of natural colours in orange, blue, teal and red, and makes beautiful and robust cushions. I've backed the cushion with a heavy natural coloured linen and there is a zip fastener and deluxe feather pad.
