Item Description
Antique c.1825 Regency Mahogany Pedestal Sofa or Dining Table – Fine Quality 19th Century Occasional Side Table
A fine quality Regency mahogany pedestal sofa, dating to around 1825. This versatile 19th-century piece functions beautifully as an occasional, side, or small dining table, and is far superior to most examples of its kind.
The table features active blind drawers on one side and dummy drawers on the reverse, as is typical for the period. The drawers slide freely, and the piece retains its original period castors.
Structurally sound with no loose joints and no woodworm, this charming table offers both elegance and practicality. A wonderful example with a rich, aged finish that would look superb in the right setting.
Dimensions:
Width: 92cm (139cm with flaps raised)
