1950’s Drexel walnut Declaration bookcase by Kipp Stewart
These lovely stylish open bookcases don’t come up for sale very often even in the US so it’s great to have one for sale in the UK. There seems to be 2 or 3 variants as regards legs, but this we think is the smartest version of this very sought after design.
Designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall for the Declaration range.
The shelves can be adjusted in position
Condition
Cleaned and oiled. The back had a couple of holes cut in presumably for wires. We’ve carefully patched these holes so that they’re hardly noticeable, particularly when in use as they’ll be hidden by books.
