Poul Cadovius teak Royal wall system 1960’s

This lovely wall system needs to be fitted to a solid wall. It actually comes with taller upright bars than shown here.

The fall front cabinets with their “lattice woven” fronts are a particularly nice feature. Each has different arrangement of small drawers all with lovely contrasting dovetail detailing. These will have been very expensive when new in the 1960’s.

From original late 1960’s Cadovius catalogues it looks as if they were often made to order in the UK by the well known quality maker Vanson. This was done to the same high standards as they were in Denmark.

As you’ll see previous owners have cut out panels from the backs of 2 cupboards for wiring. We’ll replace these.

Uprights 198cms. Each bay is 80cms wide. With uprights total width 244cms

Condition
They’re currently in good vintage condition with a few minor issues such as a slightly damaged key escutcheon to one of the cabinets You do have to expect some minor signs of wear as you will from any vintage piece no matter how well it’s been cared for over the years.
