Smart late 1960’s circular coffee table by Hans J Frydendal
A beautifully made Scandinavian circular rosewood coffee table designed by the little known Hans J Fryendal. The quality is excellent. The legs are removable and split down the centre where they are divided by the aluminium detailing which along with the recesses to the top give this table a lovely simple elegance.
A great design that rarely comes up for sale, it would have been a very expensive piece when new.
Condition
Fully cleaned and given an oiled finish which suits the grain well. There are no obvious marks or scratches. As with all vintage pieces you may see some very minor signs of wear if you look very closely.
