Item Description
A pair of 18th-century Dutch Delft vase lamps, each with an elegant baluster form and a narrow upright neck. They are decorated in blue and white with a characterful coastal scene featuring buildings with roof spikes set amongst trees, with a three-masted sailing ship in the distance. The reverse shows an abundant landscape of oversized flowers, a bridge and rocky elements, creating a lively contrast. Both scenes are framed and separated by lush floral reserves. A distinctive matching pair, with a graceful shape, timeless colours, and richly detailed decoration.
- Height to top of bulb holder: 32 cm (each)
- Vase height: 23 cm (each)
- Diameter: 17 cm (each)
- Glaze losses to bases. A small loss to one neck.
- Wired for the UK. Lampshade not included.
