Item Description
P0290 This outstanding 19th-century Napoleonic Empire gilded wall mirror features a versatile design that can be hung horizontally or vertically as an overmantel centrepiece. The mirror is set within its original, beautifully carved and moulded gold-leaf frame, which is intricately adorned with scrolling foliage motifs throughout. The frame is further elevated by detailed, decorative sunflowers anchoring each corner and accenting the centre points. The mirror retains its original gilt and panelled backboards fitted with wall brackets, replacement glass. c1850
