Item Description
A mid-century Belgian school landscape depicting a stylized townscape.
The composition blends the geometric, faceted planes of early Cubism with the rich, atmospheric emotion of European Expressionism.
The work is defined by bold geometric outlines and a warm, autumnal palette of rust orange, deep ochre, terracotta, and muted olive greens.
Mounted in its original off-white, gloss painted frame. A powerful example of mid-20th-century Belgian modernism.
Oil on board.
