Circa 1900 English fairground hand carved timber bust

An important piece of fairground history, in the form of a circa 1900 English fairground carved fragment of Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener. Likely to have been part of a larger carousel ride.

With natural wear and tear due to its years of use, fade surface and missing painted detail with a natural structural crack as shown. This is a solid and heavy object that sits flat.
