This impressive large-scale 19th-century English toleware country house lantern is both charming and highly decorative. Beautifully aged, it retains much of its original green painted finish, enhancing its authentic character and patina. Recently rewired and fitted with twin brass bulb holders for modern-day use, it is ready to be enjoyed in any interior. With glass panels and the lantern can be suspended as shown or displayed on a table as a striking decorative piece.

Condition Report
In overall good condition, solid and firm without movement or loss to structure. Worn metal surfaces with a deep natural patina as shown with paint loss. The lights are fitted with brass bayonet bulb holders for current day use.
