Early 20th century anatomical plaster medical torso figure
This early 20th century life size anatomical medical torso would have originally been used as a teaching aid. This entire object is made from plaster and hand painted and numbered. Stood on a pine base numbered 246.
Size in inches: H 25” x W 15” x D 10”
Age: 1920 - 1950
Completely solid in structure and form, aged naturally across all the surfaces. With aged repairs and over painted sections. Most of the organs have been repaired well and are not as visible of the damage from the front as shown. There are sections on the inner torso that have chipped sections and some larger sections have been filled / repairs. This example has all its organs which is rare and as shown the condition is good for its age and use. These are old authentic items so please bare this into consideration when purchasing. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas of this piece, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment upon purchase.
