Fine Regency-Style Mahogany Window Seat / Bed-End Bench / Love Seat
An elegant Regency-style window seat of refined proportions, beautifully crafted in rich mahogany. The piece features striking reeded scroll ends, each terminating in distinctive bulls-eye roundels, lending a sculptural and architectural presence.
The upholstered seat is framed by a finely carved apron adorned with delicate leaf detailing, adding softness and classical ornament without overwhelming the clean Regency lines.
Raised on superbly swept sabre legs, the bench stands with wonderful poise and balance. Each leg is finished with decorative brass mounts to the feet, providing a subtle but luxurious contrast to the warm tone of the mahogany.
