Originating from Madagascar, Aragonite, or cave calcite, is often referred to as cave popcorn thanks to its repeating sphere like crystals and neutral tone.
Formations occur as stalactites and stalagmites within caves, mines, and moist areas that are rich in limestone.
This striking and unusual specimen comes with an exclusive neoclassical style painted plaster plinth as pictured, making a striking feature of a collector’s cabinet.
