Item Description
A superb quality Cuban mahogany Linen Press. Of very unusual design, the press stands on turned and reeded feet with reeded moldings and pilasters and domino patera. The base has two long and two short cock-beaded drawers with oak and cedar wood drawer linings, original turned wooden knobs and working locks. The upper section with a pair of paneled doors, with astragal moldings, behind which are a full compliment of original sliding trays and atop a reeded cornice. The press is in very good and original condition and retains a good colour and waxed patina. 1870mm high, 1160mm wide and 570mm deep. English. Circa 1840.
