About the Artist:
Margaret Thomas was a British painter renowned for her lyrical still life's and landscapes. Her work explored both structure and spontaneity. She studied at Sidcup School of Art, the Slade School of Fine Art (1936-38) and the Royal Academy Schools (1938).
