XL Vintage Italian Florentine Wrought Iron Toleware Wall Sconce

A spectacular and highly decorative vintage Italian Florentine wrought iron and toleware wall sconce, dating from circa the 1970s.
This large wall light features an elaborate scrolling wrought iron and toleware frame finished in black with aged gilt accents. Graceful acanthus-style leaves, curled branches and a central spear-shaped ornament give the piece an elegant theatrical quality typical of Italian Florentine decorative lighting.
The sconce is fitted with four light points. Two lower candle-style lights remain exposed, while the two upper lights feature charming cream fabric shades mounted above decorative gilt metal crown-shaped candle cups and turned wooden details.
The beautifully aged black and gold finish has developed a wonderful patina, adding depth and authenticity to the piece. With its generous dimensions and striking symmetrical design, this is much more than a wall light—it makes a superb decorative statement even when unlit.
