Item Description
A delightful table lamp with two silver metal seals holding a large 'ball' lampshade. They are mounted on an attractive piece of marble, which is signed.
The two seals are standing upright on their hind flippers, facing each other symmetrically. Their bodies curve inward as they raise their front flippers together to support the large, smooth white sphere above them—almost like they’re lifting or balancing a moon.
The seals are mounted on a dark marble base with light veining, which adds contrast and a polished, art-deco feel. The metallic finish gives the seals a sleek, Deco look.
This table lamp is playful yet elegant — a statement lamp you’d see in a gallery, a boutique hotel, or a design-forward living room or bedroom.
An unusual gift for any occassion.
The design of this lamp won second prize at the Monaco Rally in 1932. An Art Deco masterpiece.
