Item Description
A pair of 1930s English hanging pendants with two-lights and ribbed glass holophane shades.
A vertical brass rod extends downward from the ceiling plate and at the bottom of the rod, the fixture branches into two curved arms, forming a symmetrical shape on each light. Each arm curves outward and downward in a smooth S-shape. The arms hold two identical light shades, one on each side. The shades are clear ribbed glass globes, the vertical ribbing helps diffuse and soften the light. The shades are attached with metal galleries.
These lights are fabricated from brass and copper, which has a lovely warm aged patina. They can be cleaned further for a brighter appearance, if desired.
This style of British light is often seen in restored historic homes, kitchens, or restaurants. Super stylish and practical Art Deco lighting - traditional British design.
