Item Description
Unusual, late 19th century, six-sided, slightly cushioned, Venetian mirror with three shorter sections forming an angular, curved top. The layered frame has a plain, hand-bevelled centre section with narrow outer and inner bevelled frames decorated with circles or "bubbles". The narrow frames also run between each of the wider sections of frame are secured at each join with an elongated glass flower, held in place with a little glass flower-topped screw. There is age in the narrow frame sections, but no damage, and the mid-frame and central hand-bevelled glass just have a little, very light, age and still give a very good reflection. This mirror was bought at auction in Bordeaux.
