Item Description
Charming little mid-19th century Venetian mirror with a delicate floral and foliate etching decorating the centre section of the frame and scallop cut edges. Each corner of the mirror has a small cut glass leaf which is secured with a diamond-cut glass-topped screw. There is a little age in the glass leaves and some very light shading in the original, bevelled, central glass but this shows more strongly in the flash photography (which also causes the vertical and horizontal white lines) than in natural light, where the mirror gives a very good reflection.
