Item Description
Late 19th century French margin mirror with grey gesso decorative outer frame and an inner frame on three sides of bevelled Venetian glass panels which are secured at the top corners with triangular decorative glass pieces, held in place with little glass flower-topped screws. A fourth piece of Venetian mirror, with scallop cut edges, runs below the decorative floral and foliate cartouche. This piece has a little age but the rest of the mirror is in excellent condition and gives a very good reflection. A very unusual and attractive mirror.
