Item Description
I was lucky enough to find a large vintage Fortuny panel, in this wonderful burnt orange colour. Fortuny textiles have been produced in Venice since 1921. Fortuny was born in Spain to an artistic family. He moved to Paris for his formative years and then on to Venice. The fabrics are mostly printed onto cotton or velvet using natural dyes, with a hand finish. I don't know the date of this cotton textile but it has some age to it. I've added vintage acorn tassels at the corners and backed the cushions in natural coloured linen. There are zip fasteners and deluxe feather inserts.
