Item Description
A 19th century French Walnut vendange table. The solid walnut top to this pretty table is supported by two substantial walnut legs with splayed feet together with a swing out mechanism in the form of a stylised musical Lyre. This secures the table top when pulled forward whilst in use keeping it completely stable with no wobbles! It is designed so that it may be placed upright when the swing out leg is returned to the closing position. The Walnut has developed the most wonderful deep colour over the past century and more together with a richly polished surface. Perfect as small breakfast or centre table.
