1960’s British sofa newly upholstered.
A neat three seat mid century sofa which has been re upholstered in Simple stripe in bilberry, which is a lovely blue and off white cotton blend upholstery fabric. A much needed face lift from the original dull fabric it arrived in.
Although we believe it is British it is very much in the style of the Danish designs of the time with teak arm caps, which are a nice shape and practical for keeping the fabric on the arms clean. It has a storage area under the seat for blankets etc.
Condition
Teak has been cleaned and oiled and is now looking great. Re upholstered in house with 80% cotton stripe fabric and crib 5 barrier interliner to comply with domestic fire standards.
length 200cm, depth 88cm and height 76cm. Seat height 38cm. Seat/ bed space 56cm x 180cm.
