Chinese embroidered silk panel of Shou Lao
Shou Lao is the God of Longevit, so a good image to have in your house ! The ivory and pale blue borders with gilt edges are part of the original design. We think it probably dates to the 1920’s or 1930’s, but in a late 20th Century frame.
Nice quality it would look good in a contemporary interior as well as a more traditional one.
