Item Description
George IV Rosewood Étagère / side table manner of Gillows.
The equivalent of high end Danish mid-century furniture when it was made we think George 4th and William 4th British furniture of this quality is currently undervalued. This lovely piece has fabulous simple detailing throughout which means it would have been an expensive craftsman made piece when new around 200 years ago. Nicely figured rosewood with top quality brass caps and castors.
A really useful practical piece that would look great in any interior either traditional or contemporary.
Condition
In unrestored condition with no obvious marks, just some medium scratches if you look closely at the top but nothing unsightly. It could be stripped and repolished if required, but we don’t think this is necessary.
