Item Description
Guy Rogers upholstered Manhattan armchair.
A single reclining Manahattan chair with an afromosia dark teak frame and new burnt orange upholstery. The seat extends out and back reclines.
Produced by Guy Rogers of Liverpool throughout the Mid Century, these armchairs were made alongside a lower backed version, a sofa and footstool.
Upholstery has been stripped back to the frame, new webbing on the back and seat. New foam has re shaped the back into its nice original shape and the seat cushion has been replaced with new firm foam. The armchair has been re covered in a complimentary orange woven fabric of wool and flax. This all complies with current UK fire regulations.
Width 69cm, depth 94cm, height 94cm. Seat height 43cm.
Condition
The frame is solid and stable and has been cleaned and oiled and is in good condition.
All new upholstery, so it is firm and comfortable.
