Howard Keith 1960s Teak Armchair and stool.

Now with a matching stool which we managed to source. Most people didn’t buy matching foot stools as they would have been an expensive extra, so we’re really lucky to find one as they rarely turn up for sale.

Quality British Sculptured 1960s Teak Armchair by top upholstery maker Howard Keith. This lovely model doesn’t turn up often and when it does it’s usually described as by Greaves and Thomas, but it’s far better in construction and detailing and we’ve recently bought the matching foot stool which has HK monogrammed undercloth. With the HK name we then found a related version without arms.

Stylish teak framed armchair with nice jutting out carved arms. The frame has been completly restored, stripped of its old finish and restored to its original natural teak finished with oil. Excellent condition with only a few small marks due to age.

The upholstery has been replaced, new quality soft foam cushions have been covered with Camira mainline flax which is a lovely natural flax and wool weave in burnt orange. These are zipped covers but also attached to the springs as in the original design.
