Item Description
Johannes Andersen 1960’s teak stool
We bought this lovely stool through a Swedish contact. Designed by Johannes Andersen who was one of the most successful Danish designers in the 1960’s with a number of iconic designs to his name. Broderna Andersen specialised in making good quality sofas and chairs with factories in Sweden and Denmark.
The teak frame has lovely detailing as you can see. The buttoned black leather upholstery is original, but can be replaced if required. Our in-house upholsterer can quote for the work, but won’t be able to replicate the stitching as this will have been done with a specialised sewing machine.
Cushion size 58cms x 38cms, seat height 38cms
Condition
The teak frame cleaned and oiled and looking great. The upholstery is vintage with patina and signs of wear as per the photos. As with all vintage furniture you must expect to see some signs of wear if you look very closely.
