Late 19th Century French Faux Bamboo dressing chest
Stylish and beautifully made from solid pine with faux bamboo decoration throughout in the Japanese style that was in vogue in the late 19th Century. Of good size offering plenty of storage.
The white marble top and splashback are original. The mirror can be angled to suit.
The drawers all run smoothly so it’s practical as well as being a great piece of furniture.
111.5cms wide, 51cms deep plus mirror supports, 89cms to top of chest, 164cms to top of mirror
Condition
In great vintage condition with some minor knocks to 3 handles, and some damage to the original marble top, all as per photos. As with all antique furniture you must expect to see some minor signs of wear if you look very closely.
