Rare pair of Arne Hovmand Olsen hoop back teak chairs

These super stylish chairs don’t come up for sale very often and must have been very expensive when new as they can’t have been easy to produce . The teak has been cleaned and looks wonderful and we’ve had them re-upholstered in black leather as the original vinyl had some damage .

A really unusual design from the 1960’s by one of the less well known Danish Mid-Century designers . He mainly worked for Mogens Kold and came up with some stunning designs for them , but as these chairs are never labelled we can’t say if they were by MK .

Condition
Teak frames have been cleaned and oiled . The original vinyl upholstery was torn so we’ve had them re-done in black leather . As with all vintage furniture you do have to expect to see some minor signs of wear if you look very closely .
