Item Description
Set of 6 novelty wood place card holders
Some have stamped marks saying Reg Eng on the undersides which presumably stands for Registered England. They’re female figures in red hunting dress with articulated arms with a definite groove to the right hand in which to insert a name card. All slightly different painted details.
They’re really hard to date and we can find nothing similar to them online. From the same source came a set of Cecil Aldin hunting figures from the early 20th Century, but these look a little more recent, possibly 1930’s.
