Set of 8 Danish teak chairs by Svend Aage Madsen
The high angled backs ensure these well made chairs are not only stylish, but they’re also very comfortable. Most people in the 1960’s and early 70’s only bought 4 or 6 chairs, so it’s good to find a set of 8 that have always been together from new.
We bought them from the family of the original owners along with a great Danish teak sideboard by Bernard Pedersen and some other pieces that had all been bought together in the late 1960’s.
Seat width 48cms, seat height 44cms, back height 91.5cms
Condition:
The chair frames have all been given a light clean. There are no obvious marks or damage The seats have been newly upholstered in a lovely yellow fabric by ?
As with all vintage furniture you must expect to see some minor signs of wear if you look very closely.
