K0637 Stylish and elegant English Arts and Crafts, late 19th century solid oak coat stand / hall stand, having four decorative turned finials above a moulded edge and four copper plated double coat hooks / hat hooks with single hooks below. All on four solid oak uprights united by sturdy supports to the centre and base, all terminating in original removable copper plated drip tray. This antique hall stand is showing only minor signs of use, all retaining its original finish which has been cleaned and waxed, original patina, good deep colour and original antique character. All in home ready condition. No cracks, breaks, no signs of woodworm, all joints have been checked and tighten where necessary. This is one of the best examples we ever had. c1890
