Item Description
This gentle pair of panels was commissioned for the wedding of a Monaco based couple in 1933 for their bedroom. Painted birds and luxurious green foliage runs from one panel to the other. Signed to the bottom right hand corner. Painted on textile.

Condition: The front is in remarkably good condition considering its age. There are some age spots and one small repair. The back is in less good condition with historical taping and further new taping but we have elected to keep the original back not only because it won't be seen but where possible retaining original elements is preferable. However, this can very easily be changed if required.
