Overview
A one-off rare example of a mid-20th century salesman’s sweets sample case. A variety of glass bottled sweets are handwritten labelled and displayed in a small leather suitcase. Branded Menier Chocolatier on card. There are a variety of glass vials that have sweet chemical powders in them, a few bottles are empty, and one as shown is covered in a sticky brown sugar substance. The case the items are kept in is aged and worn as shown, one latch lock is not present, but the case closes with 2 of the 3 latches working. The internal discoloured plastic bottle cover has a few surface breaks to it, but this is stable and firmly in place. This is an authentic well used object, so please expect this in the overall condition. We would also strongly recommend not eating these sweets.
